After Ruby Roses departure last year from the role, many wondered what would happen with the character of Kate Kane in the Arrowverse. After last night’s episode of Batwoman, fans finally have their answers, and a new Kate Kane.
Interestingly enough, after the “Death of Kate Kane” plot thread, many were critical of the show ran by showrunner Caroline Dries for continuing the “bury your gays” trope.
Thankfully, that is no longer the case. Kate Kane has been recasted and as they have said in the press “altered”.
Here’s to hoping that this casting can improve a sinking ship.
